When a billing app stops being enough

A billing app is enough while one person makes bills in one place. It stops being enough when a second place appears. The usual case in Mumbai is an office or shop in the city and a godown outside it, where stock sits in one place and bills are made in the other.

Why the godown matters

Mumbai holds 31% of the industrial and warehousing stock of India's eight largest markets, about 170 million sq ft at the end of 2025, with the Bhiwandi and Panvel clusters as its backbone (Knight Frank, reported by Lokmat Times). A lot of Mumbai trade therefore keeps goods outside the city. Check whether your system can show stock by place. BecozAI shows stock by branch. In: GSTR reports as downloads for upload to the GST portal. E-way bill is a check plus a JSON file. Tally export is built in.
Not in: e-invoice (IRN) out of the box. You would have to enter your own gateway login, so ask us first if you need it now.
Not in: an iPhone app. The Android app is an APK download on the Professional and Enterprise plans. Every plan works in a phone browser.
